Just back from a great vacation in Cuba where I managed to get out fishing several times! Trolling from a catamaran over various depths, produced fish each day. Barracuda, kingfish and jacks were landed with Louis at the sail. Now it's time to prep the boat for my fishing season!

A little late in posting due to a computer crash, but back up & working fine now! Natalie and her gang iced several decent fish in bitter cold temps last Friday. When the winds turned ugly, we packed it up for the day. First experience but hopefully not the last!

A rather cold day on the ice but well worth the effort! One of several fish released by the guys from Switzerland. Tough morning bite, but enjoyable nonetheless!

After cancelling several groups last week, I was back out today with Francisco and three of his friends from Rio. They all had a blast catching plenty of panfish, along with a couple of decent pike. They now know what Canadians do in the winter!

What an absolutely insane day to be on the water! Craig & Herm were with me for day two in Gale Force winds gusting over 40 knots from the SW. At least that's what they said, but they were out of the W/NW... facebook.com/16809291755057…

With the season drawing to an end, Craig & Herm braved the elements once again today! They boated plenty of quality smallies but missed more than they caught. Short strikes & light bites accounted for all the misses. Hopefully a better day tomorrow!

Another day pounding on giant smallies! This time however, Darren got to enjoy it under sunny skies and little to no wind. I wasn't sure if we would remember how to fish in these conditions!

Well today was definitely better than yesterday for Steve & Craig! The weather sucked but the fish were big and plentifull and that's all that counts!

Craig & Steve had to settle for plan B again today with the insane winds on the lake. We still managed to make it work though by getting into many smallies. Not all of them were giants but they were still fun!

Flat calm conditions today, figures! Darren joined me for a half day of fishing for bass & walleye and managed to put a few in the boat. Not a great bite but still good nonetheless!

Last day of sturgeon season and I had to spend it fishing for smallies with Dan! Weather forecast called for hell winds so we went to plan B. Loads of big fish were landed by both of us but nothing giant. Only quality!

I finally got back out today to fish for sturgeon! Winds were light and Michael and his two sons Shawn & Brandon all landed their first ones. Nothing realy giant, just good ones. Great to get back out before the season closes completely!

Another day from hell but at least there wasn't any other boats in sight! Ed & his nephew Dan experienced tough but rewarding fishing in average 3 footers. Plenty of smallies and walleye were landed and Ed... facebook.com/16809291755057…

Another day of bruisers and much better weather to fish in! Sam, Phillip, Steph & Gaurav had a banner day for size but it could have been numbers as well. Too many fish were missed or lost but they still managed to land some real good ones today!

Great day for big fish in big winds! Phillip, Ryan & Patric saw some of the largest bass today in less than perfect conditions. Several personal bests, several times over!

Another tough, miserable, east wind day on the water! Phil had a great time though and finished with a slam! A multi species outing of epic proportion!

After countless days of hurricane like winds & that caused some cancellations, I finally got back out for sturgeon! Although not even close to great conditions, Glen, Todd & Tony endured all the crap and went 5 for 6 with a few beauties. Not another soul out there either!

Pierre, Francois & Sebastien experienced another tough day today with even worse winds. Although they did catch some nice smallies, presentation was next to impossible. Gale Force Winds never make it easy!
