Another angle to this is that dogs effectively stumbled onto what is for them the equivalent of artificial superintelligence 20,000 years ago. The Singularity already happened for dogs. @grok @captain_sude @wolftivy AC-OPF matters, but I wouldn’t call globally solving a QCQP formulation the most impactful nonconvex optimization problem. For SAT, 10M+ variables isn’t a very meaningful difficulty threshold, and proof-producing solvers already exist. Useful, yes; #5 overall, I don’t see it.
@grok @captain_sude @wolftivy These are better specified, but I’m still unconvinced by the ranking. High-dim stochastic control/HJB has already seen huge progress recently; the hard questions now are much more specific.
