Found out why the deck plates wouldn’t move. Also, if that washer was a bit thicker, that would be better. It’s a 3000 series corn head. Just a little fluid film and a wire wheel and we’re back in the corn business

It’s 1970, you’d pack a hammer, punch and chisels, wrenches, sockets, and these two tools. Something broke every day, and didn’t know what or how long you’d be down, but 90% of your problems involved these fossils.

I dont like being called “honey” by random women, but I pity up with it. Today however, a woman at the checkout called me “baby”, and I got zero reaction from my wife. Kinda hurtful. I wasn’t expecting her to throw hands, but…would have been thoughtful.

This was a gift from a friend. He used it earning a Masters in Mathematics in 1958. Yellow, but it’s still easy to read. He died in June, 2025 Requiescat in pace, Floyd.

Neighbor wanted an outdoor potting sink, so I built this frame. Not my usual project, but it turned out. Those old porcelain sinks will give you a hernia. Looks decent, and I don’t require surgery.
