Colorado parents if you have seen this video and you think this is bad you should know the laws in your own state. When my oldest son was 12 and I needed to get his health form to participate in track, my pediatrician’s office let me know that my son would have to give ME authorization to get into his portal. That was SEVEN years ago! In CO at age 12 kids can: -have a full term abortion WITHOUT parental consent (they’re supposed to get parental notification…) -outpatient psychotherapy without parental consent -and we have seen many cases where kids have been prescribed puberty blockers without parental consent -change their name at school without parental consent -sexually transmitted disease testing, diagnosis and treatment without parental consent -substance use treatment AND THIS IS FOR 12 YEAR OLDS whose parents are completely funding their medical care in the dark! So if this video makes you mad, you should be really angry if you live in Colorado….
