Being gaming agnostic is a privilege. Most cant afford to not have gaming brand loyalty because it costs too much. Everyone making fun of Xbox folks because they backed the wrong horse is short sighted. Now those Xbox fans that can afford it but was console warring have issues

Damn, looking back at Stadia closing things make a little more sense on the outside. Google got in all cheery eyed. After they on the inside they realized how how expensive it would be to even compete and then noped out. If Xbox can't compete really no one else can. Sad.

NGL, still feeling it today. Stadia was like a friend I had since 2019 and it feels like I'm losing a close friend as weird as that sounds. My kids myself and my wife regularly enjoyed using the platform primarily as our gaming outlet since then.

Can't wait to read some of the coming articles in the next week or so about the spectacular failure of leadership at Google. How can anyone trust anything new coming from Google anymore? This should have been their line in the sand moment. Now their fucked for the next decade.

So both of these things were true unfortunately true. Stadia will live on in other tech, but it's closing down. When you're wrong and right at the same time, but feel like shit about it.

The only way I'll feel happy about giving my time to Stadia at this point is if the tech is utilized else where in gaming. Its also justice for the engineers involved. BC I could have played most of those games elsewhere but chose to support Stadia bc of the tech.

Really it's incredible that someone at Google isn't in a screaming panic over the brand's reputation. Every Google product launch needs to come with a minimum support commitment. They need to be posted somewhere. They should have mentioned the refund commitment earlier.
