The vote count in Bolivia is officially over. The Movement Towards Socialism has won with a larger margin than in the historic victory of 2005. A defeat for the US govt, a defeat for neoliberal economics, a defeat for the fascist paramilitary groups that stole our vote in 2019.

Above all, the victory in Bolivia shows that organised movements can always win. Even against vastly powerful enemies like the US, even when being massacred & jailed. If you fight you can win. There's nothing special about Bolivia, if it can happen here it can happen anywhere.

Today is a day of resounding victory for the people of Bolivia and the ones who stand in solidarity with them. The resilience and determination with which they withstood and finally defeated reactionary and western imperialist ambitions is a rare source of true inspiration.

What a hypocrite. Elon Musk has received billions in corporate welfare from U.S. taxpayers. Now he wants to stop 30 million Americans who lost jobs from receiving $600 a week in unemployment benefits, while his wealth has gone up by $46.7 billion over the past 4 months. Pathetic.
