I’m not understanding what you mean here. CRT isn’t needed to teach history.

@_BarringtonII We’d need to agree on a definition of crt to move ahead in the conversation. My view is that CR is including the role of race in historical events and critically looking at its impact in outcomes.
@_BarringtonII If we can agree with that definition, then i don’t understand why historical truths (and they must be factually true) would negatively impact any child. I’ve never really understood the argument. I’m open to enlightenment.
@UnfamilrThought @_BarringtonII That isn't the definition of CRT. Critical Race Theory isn't even a theory. It is a name, made up by Kimberle Crenshaw, to describe a field of activism among activist academics, starting in the law department and expanding to other areas. CRT/CSJ is race-activist ideology.
@UnfamilrThought @_BarringtonII CRT/CSJ activist academics present racialized, politically-skewed narratives about history & society rather than presenting inclusive narratives. CRT promotes race-essentialism, racist, prejudiced concepts as though they are factual. CRT is activism masquerading as scholarship.
@UnfamilrThought @DavidKrae @_BarringtonII The Wiki is actually quite good, and well sourced (check the embedded links to view the source material) en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Critical_…
@Alex37731 @DavidKrae @_BarringtonII Just quickly scanned Cochran’s closing remarks in the OJ trail. Nowhere does he even indicate that payback is at hand. Not sure how that relates to CR other than to fan the flames of misinformation.
