🚨 JUST IN: In a bombshell statement, Brazil's President of the Superior Electoral Court Justice Kassio Nunes Marques just SOUNDED THE ALARM that there was absolutely NO RULE that allowed the voting to continue an extra +2 hours — an unprecedented order from Lula's Supreme Court flunky that helped his regions "The preliminary decision given after the voting closing time generated DIFFICULTIES in the electoral process...there [were] no regulations authorizing any extension." 🤯 "Never, in the history of the TSE, has there been ANY extension." "It would not be possible, in a few hours, to form a judgment with certainty that no side effects — especially in the technological aspect — arising from a court decision would significantly impact the vote count!" He also pointedly reminded the Supreme Court that the Electoral Justice system is "the institution to which our Constitution attributed the exclusive competence to manage the electoral process" Lula's handpicked justice bypassed the TSE after 5PM and ordered it anyway! BREAKING: Brazil's election could be annulled, according to the New York Times. Electoral lawyers say Brazil's current situation is "extremely serious" and a "critical situation." The NYT reports that confusion over a last-minute voting extension by Justice Cristiano Zanin, who was appointed by Lula, could lead to the election being annulled. "This is an extremely serious, critical situation," said electoral lawyer Priscilla Sodré Pereira to the New York Times. When Zanin made the last-minute decision to extend voting hours, some polling stations had already closed and shut down their voting machines. They could not reopen. "Fernando Neisser, an electoral law professor at Fundação Getulio Vargas, a Brazilian research institute, said the election could be annulled if the margin is very narrow and it is shown that polling stations stayed open longer in areas that strongly favor one candidate," the NYT reported. Wow.
