With some help from #ChatGPT and Github Copilot I've been able to jam on smart contract for @NEARProtocol using raw WebAssembly. gist.github.com/vgrichina/48c7… wat2wasm compiles this into 223 bytes WASM file. It has `hello` function which prepends "Hello, " to whatever passed in.

The point of crypto is not to experiment with blockchains or to make you rich. The point of crypto is to outcompete, supplant, and render unnecessary the California-controlled platforms and NYC-controlled banks which have strip-mined human flourishing for their own bottom line.
Discussions about lack of real world use cases for crypto, along with handwringing about the need for applications beyond casinos, remain in vogue. However, we rarely see suggestions for new application types, mostly handwaving and complaints. 🧵

With some help from #ChatGPT and Github Copilot I've been able to jam on smart contract for @NEARProtocol using raw WebAssembly. gist.github.com/vgrichina/48c7… wat2wasm compiles this into 223 bytes WASM file. It has `hello` function which prepends "Hello, " to whatever passed in.
