Oh god... Slayton is good, but there is not shot I'm extending him or even thinking about it until after the draft. If NYG draft a receiver, they can afford to let Slayton walk and keep costs down long-term.

Let me follow up saying I like Slayton, dude is a hard worker and a good player -- my take is entirely based on what the NYG do in the draft. I'm open to extending him at the right price, but just not right now.
@AlexWilsonESM Wrong again Alex. Slayton took less money twice. Even if we draft Rome or Nabers still need a solid vet in that group. Wandale coming into his own but need to see more. Hyatt looked good at times but still not exactly sure what he is. 86 not looking to break bank They owe him
@AlexWilsonESM I don't think this is fair - Slayton has been so unappreciated on the Giants and while I don't think he's a true WR1, there has to be some sort of incentive for his consistent loyalty/hard play. I don't think we should give him $20 mil but an extension is fair
@AlexWilsonESM I agree after the draft, I am down for extending him. He is the only receiver that's been consistently available to play. I honestly see this as him wanting to stay as a NYG.
@AlexWilsonESM Offer him another year at guaranteed min, but with vesting $ tied to ‘24 season performance, including camp participation.
@AlexWilsonESM I like him but Who does he think he is? Ceedee, Jefferson, chase? Hes none of them, no reason for him to be doing this
