@antonioshina1 @YouTube I really enjoyed watching this video! It seems like it can provide a huge positive impact on the mental health side giving them the opportunity to do more for themselves and not have to rely on someone else to help them perform daily activities.

This video demonstrates a wheelchair product called the smart drive and helps an individual move in a wheelchair for when they need it. #EXS3030 youtube.com/watch?v=Hn4MHi… via @YouTube

@buia_bianca This is an amazing video to share with the class! When going through the lecture, I never really had considered more of the psychological side of the disease in much detail and it really does show the amount of willpower it takes to get through and battle against the disease.

#EXS3030 this video highlights a man who has Parkinson's Disease and his mission to raise money for research by running. youtube.com/watch?v=bwyosZ… via @YouTube

@docgoble @YouTube (Right side) and the amount of force that he needs in order to push himself up from the bottom of the squat (Left). Without this shared communication with the two sides of the brain, the visual inputs will not be able to cross making it more difficult to perform the squat.

@docgoble @YouTube The corpus callosum is important to relay this information across both sides of the brain because of the unique functions that it does. The brain needs to communicate with both sides for spatial discrimination, where Blaine is determining how far his feet are from each other,

@docgoble @YouTube Proprioception:0:40 seconds, Belmonte is using proprioception to note of where the ball is during the swing to gauge the max height of the ball. He uses this sense to tell him when he needs to take his hand away at the top of the swing so he can start moving the ball downward.

@noah_gaydos11 I really like how this video encompasses a variety of different uses for EMG. What I like most about this video is how it talks about the practical uses that it has for athletes and then brings it back to the topic of motor learning!

This video discusses what EMG does and what ways that it can be useful in relation to exercise science/sports. What I had found interesting and never thought of before was using EMG to measure muscle fatigue. #EXS3030 youtube.com/watch?v=gHsZ0b… via @YouTube

m.youtube.com/watch?v=Era0VA… Here’s a video of Micheal Phelps breaking the 200m freestyle at the 2008 Olympic Games. His body control on his flip turns display his great awareness and motor control in the pool. #EXS3030

@franklombard0 It's extremely impressive that he is able to gauge where he is at in relation in the pool at any given moment (such as at the end of the lane) and tell his body what to do in an instant! This perfection is one of the reasons why he is considered one of the greats in swimming!

Renaldo Nehemiah impressively demonstrated fine tuned motor control where every part of his body acted in unison with one another with very little error! This allowed him to take the world record in 1981! youtube.com/watch?v=lMUTzp… via @YouTube #EXS3030

I’m taking #EXS3030 @OaklanduSHS with @DocGoble because i am very interested in the neurological side of movement as well as it is an essential class for my career as a successful physical therapist!
