@pulte Bill, as a 55 year old, I went back to school to become a counselor. One of the single most important things to do with an older person who is having trouble changing with the times is first to meet them where they are by hearing their concerns. It is powerful

@pulte 3rd, spend the money now to buy the right tools. I chose the best institution I could find for my education, to allow me to be properly trained. I will be working with people’s lives, and that is no place to scrimp.
@pulte That is why I went back to school to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. 2nd, take calculated risks based on not having all the information. Changing to this career at age 53 is just that.
@pulte Bill, thank you for publishing the book of wisdom based on the life of your grandfather. Several things stood out as I read it. 1st, break things to fix them. My life was not really broken, but I was not serving others the way that I could.
