Absolutely dystopian. Missouri AG will now have all medical records of transgender patients at Planned Parenthood’s in Missouri. The government should NEVER have private medical records. If this was for abortion care there would be a media uproar.

I have been a Planned Parenthood patient in other states and if my data was given to an attorney general I would feel personally violated and fearful of how my patient records from a critical and personal point in my life would be used against the care that saved my life.
@AlliRaine22 Agree , although the court did limit it to information not covered by HIPPA, it still sounds like overreach.
@AlliRaine22 There should be an uproar. This Trans panic is a distraction from their real goal of denying abortion healthcare. They’re using Trans panic to get transphobic women to actively advocate against their own bodily autonomy.
@AlliRaine22 Police have been acquiring pharmacy records (often without a warrant or notification to the patient) for years. They already have lists of people who have picked up plan b, etc. The medical record system needs a full overhaul.
@AlliRaine22 Certain records means, in case English is not your first language, a specified subgroup of all records. Words have meaning.
@AlliRaine22 This is HORRENDOUS
@AlliRaine22 It says “certain records” in the RT.
