@robertmdaws @AberdeenFC What a player. When he was on the team was unstoppable. His roasting of Mick Mills was legendary. Only 6 caps is a disgrace.

@KeithSmithNBA How long have you been a soccer fan Keith?Leeds is an interesting team to follow - not one of the mainstream teams. I’ve followed you for a while - don’t recall too many soccer posts before the Word Cup - looking forward to more.

@KeithSmithNBA everyone wants/likes to think the U.S. has a top team but the reality is they found their level. However this World Cup is a massive success. I’m hopeful this is a building block but we need a more consistent flow of quality players which starts at the grassroots and takes time.

An incredible experience at the Scotland Haiti match. I am so proud of both of my nations. To my fellow Scots you are the best ambassadors we could have. To the Bostonians, you have adopted us as your own, the genuine spirit of community and joy is something I will never forget.

@PGATOUR @ValsparChamp @NoLayingUp @JordanSpieth Watched every shot of his round 4. Ball striking & distance control especially the irons were top drawer. A bad 3 wood off the tee on 7 & fluffed chip from deep rough around the green on 8 other than that he was flawless. Just missed several 10 to 20 footers. Could have been -6.

@KeithSmithNBA crazy talk but the Celtics could reach the NBA finals (but it ends there). Tatum should not be hurried, we have a good team, not great. Jaylen is the leader - playing superbly right now. I worry about him health wise with the stress & minutes. Next year different conversation.

@seanj67_ Agree. Tough job commentating on your home country and trying to sound neutral but a few positive comments would be nice. Maybe we’ll hear it when we score 😉.

@KeithSmithNBA Eesh. This is going to be a long season. My heart might not make it. Great effort tonight. Jaylen settling into his role is good to see.

@KeithSmithNBA I hope you’re right. I’m not seeing it. They need to show more defensive intensity and not get pushed around even if they are playing a better team. That has to be their identity this season.

@KeithSmithNBA Do you agree it’s all related. No easy shots caused by all of the above. Loved the Wendell Kim shout out earlier btw.

@KeithSmithNBA We’re not watching the same game. Celtics being pushed around by a better team. Knicks have more energy, intensity and the Celtics look lost. Pritchard and Brown are hanging their heads. Not acceptable - Mazzula needs to inspire these guys and I’m not seeing it.

@SteveArchibald8 so I’m a Spurs and Aberdeen fan and the last week has been incredible with all the posts from friends and family. I can only imagine the chatter you are getting. Which one was more unexpected?

@NoaDalzell Love the lead but it’s gonna be a long nervy second half. Need this one and the Knicks will throw everything at us. They need this game as much as we do.

@RaeComm Hope so Derek. The biggest misnomer is that the Old Firm fans cry out for a more competitive league then if any other teams get competitive they buy/acquire their best players then complain it’s not a competitive league. Expect the same this season regardless of the outcome.

@nathanmarzion Totally respect the passion for your team Nathan. Win or lose you’ll follow to the end. I’m feeling like the Bucks are similar to the Celtics in Kyrie’s last year. So much talent but something is not right with the chemistry.
