Hear me out...What if there is NO such thing as a sickness? What if everything we think of as an illness is actually a gift from our body to show us something we're missing... For instance, you don't have "gut issues" -- your body is alerting you to a poison you're eating... You don't have depression -- you just need to get in the sun and love yourself some more You don't have acne -- you're detoxing from all the toxic crap Your body is never attacking you...it is fighting for your survival and evolution
@AlpacaAurelius I’m all about thinking outside the box, but I can’t wrap this idea around type 1 diabetes. Ideas?
@AlpacaAurelius I think this is mostly correct. We have been taught to have a “ill” mindset. With a health mindset we can overcome most of what makes us “sick”, if we are listening. If I’m run down I need to slow down, sleep, drink water, and repair. I eat well, breathe well, and sleep well.
@AlpacaAurelius I’ve got a bad case of norovirus right now so this is NOT resonating!! .. Carnivore WOE 5+ years.
@AlpacaAurelius Big Pharma benefits from you thinking you are sick and there are no natural remedies.
Great point, but society now teaches to ignore illness until it's too late or to run to Dr for pharmacutul care. Such as..we need you to work just wear a mask😳, when though your body is Fighting illness. Let's say you have the flu, many jobs will get upset if you ask for 2 weeks off even though at a minimum it takes that long to be functional. Employers dismiss having a cold, so you go to work spreading that virus everywhere, getting others sick, and lowering everyone's quality of service. Each time you disrespect your body it effects your longevity, your work quality, everything. There will always be grifters, but employers should start to value their employees and work ethics to allow them to heal before resuming their work. And employees should start realizing that infecting coworkers is unethical above their financial needs. But none of this will ever happen. Money matters more than anything, right😏
@AlpacaAurelius Absolutely! 100% Listen to your body, it will tell you what it needs.
@AlpacaAurelius I 100% agree. Even cancer. The problem is there’s so many environmental toxins, air pollution, etc. all around us and in the workplace that are out out of our control.
