This is unbelievable. $1,000 in Argentine pesos in 2013 is now worth about $3.30. $1,000 in Bitcoin in 2013 is now worth over $6 MILLION. The peso has lost over 99% of its value against the US dollar, falling from about $0.20 to less than a tenth of a cent. In 2013, you needed about 5 pesos to buy one dollar, but today you need over 1,500. It's down another 12% in the past year alone, trading near its all-time low.
