If the right to abortion does not exist because it is not expressly written in the Constitution and therefore is “not part of our history and tradition”—what Alito explicitly argues in Dobbs—then the right to “presidential immunity” also does not exist for the exact same reason.

My response to Dobbs/Alito when it was leaked:
@AmoneyResists Fyi abortion was legal in every colonys is america.
@AmoneyResists If you follow the logic of things having to be expressly written in the Constitution, then the 2nd amendment should only apply to guns available when it was written, like muskets
@AmoneyResists Don't you know by now that conservatives just change the rules when it fits them?
@AmoneyResists If only the GOP cared about fairness...or logic, or ethics, or morals, or justice, or the planet, or human suffering... Devastatingly, they do not.
@AmoneyResists Alito and Thomas are a scourge on the Court.
@AmoneyResists @Konola4Colorado Amazing how some folks on the highest court in the land can't see the obvious most of us see! They try to make it into some twisted nuanced debate instead of the obvious implications to our future. Current laws hold Trump accountable and immunity is not a get out of jail card.
@AmoneyResists You weren’t expecting consistency from Alito were you?
@AmoneyResists Kidney transplants aren't in the consitution but every state allows them so why not abortion 🤷♀️
