@Jenna_DeWitt Allergy injections were life changing for me. I did them from 2011-2017 and it has only continued to improve since then. I was constantly getting sick and just miserable. Now I sometimes forget my allergy meds because it's so mild. I could not even imagine that before.
@JBsTwoCents And of course I would stay home! And I was mostly happy to. But man, identity and motherhood is a whole thing.
@JBsTwoCents It honestly took until Lucy was about 3 that I started to feel like a main character again. But even then, there were so many times that I was reminded I wasn't. I'd have an important work meeting I'd prepped for ... and then she would be sick and I'd have to stay home.
