@AvantiWestCoast what’s the point of having a seat reservation system if tpu don’t turn the displays on until AFTER a full train has departed? Happens all the time - not rocket science, is it?

@hotelscomhelp & @RamadaWorldwide really excelled themselves last night. Hotel in Wakefield had no trace of my confirmed booking at 1.30am - eventually got a room in Leeds at 4.30am. Best part of 3 hours on phone in middle of night. Shite service all round. Well done.

Hey @TravelodgeUK - when did it become acceptable to put pre-booked guests in a de-commissioned room in Bristol Emerson's Green? Smell was worse than horrendous, heating ooa, no towels, bathroom had been used. Absolutely disgusting - terrible sleep and a sore throat today.

@TravelodgeUK Really? Join the queue?? Two other bookings with you being cancelled. I understand when hotels make honest mistakes but this is way beyond that - told the room has been ooa for THREE WEEKS yet they still allocated it when full.

@lpoolcouncil Why can large-scale profitable events still get away with this tactic? It’s work - pay people.

Huge thanks to @HIExpress Star City Birmingham for turning me away at 2.20am this morning due to having started a 'night audit', when I told them in advance I would be arriving 'around 2am'. Absolutely shite customer service all round - appaling attitude from reception too.

#aurora last night from Durness #sutherland - a touch more reality rather than the lime green long exposures we see so often. #northernlights #auroraBorealis #scotland
