It looks like about 110,000 Iowans voted in the Republican #iowacaucus2024 - less than 4% of the 3 million people in the state. Keep in mind that these primaries aren’t representative of the population at large.
The Wall Street Journal reported that less than 15% of registered Republicans in Iowa voted in the caucuses. Trump got half of those votes which means he got 7% of registered Republican votes in the caucuses. The Democrat establishment is salivating. They want Trump as the Republican nominee. Biden will not be the Democrat nominee. Trump running against anybody other than Biden has no path to the White House.
@AndrewYang Keep in mind that it was -15 And yes, this election is exactly representative of who Iowans are
@AndrewYang Proposal for a one-day nationwide primary in the U.S. 🇺🇸 It’s simple, efficient, inclusive of independents, more representative of different types of voters, and will achieve a substantially larger voter turnout.
@AndrewYang Ah, but they are. Consider it a really good poll.
@AndrewYang It’s like -7 in Iowa. Where is that global warming you and others talk about? If it was a lot warmer out people would go vote. Why do you care? You’re not a Republican.
@AndrewYang And less than 4% of that 110,000 are on X cause I just can't understand how Vivek performed so poorly
@AndrewYang So are you saying polls aren't representative of the population at large then?
@AndrewYang What percentage of Iowa is above the legal voting age?
