Before ChatGPT, I would greet imperfect submissions from my students a bit differently than I do today. Today, I received a thick stack of perfectly imperfect lit reviews. They read like inexperienced ungrads wrote them. AND I AM DELIGHTED.

@AngelaStockman So true! I have never been happier to see “fragments,” “run-ons,” and creative punctuation. The drafty prose gives us a chance to play with choices and focus on IDEAS. I’m grateful student writing still looks like student writing.
