As Angels fans we have to be honest with ourselves and this post is so accurate.

I know people are upset about Ohtani leaving for the Dodgers. I read where Angels really had no shot at re-signing Shohei. Honestly with as dysfunctional and misguided this organization is, I’m pretty sure he was counting the days until he could leave. And I don’t blame him

I am not upset with Ohtani. I get it. I am upset with Arte Moreno. I am upset with positive toxic Angels fans that continue to defend that guy.

Angel fans need to stop acting like we lost a loved one. @daveholmes35 @AngelsFanatica and me know for real what that feels like. Sure going to the Doyers sucks but he made the best decision for himself. Arte Moreno failed his fan base not trading him or building around him

For real, why would anyone be surprised or mad that he chose to leave? Any intelligent person would do the same.

The Angels had the greatest talent in baseball history, at his peak, for 3 years. They finished 77-85, 73-89 and 73-89 in those 3 years. There are probably many factors in Ohtani's departure. But the team's inability to win will forever be associated with his Anaheim tenure.

I’m still shocked an Asian athlete has the largest contract in American sports history 🫨 Shohei Ohtani fully deserves it

The Angels really had the best player in MLB history for 6 years, missed the playoffs in each of them, and are barely getting a late 2nd round draft pick for him to sign with their cross town rivals. Tell me that isn’t the most Angels thing you’ve ever heard
