I’m “middle class” on paper but I still live paycheck to paycheck. Everything is getting more expensive but I just get 2-3% raises which doesn’t cover anything. How do other people make it work?

"I love you" is said in many ways: "Be safe!" "Text me when you're home to let me know that you got in ok." "I saw this and thought of you!" "Please make sure you eat something." "I hope you slept well!" "How are you feeling?" "I appreciate you." It's easy to miss sometimes.

Sometimes it is amazing to look back and realize that while life definitely isn't perfect, I'm in awe of all the times I felt I was in my darkest moments only to realize now that God was there working and trying to show me his peace in the midst of the storm.

Home sick for the third day in a row. While I know I needed some time off to let my body rest for once, I feel so guilty for using my pto time for this and for not being at work...I seriously struggle with letting myself relax or rest without guilt.
