I had an introductory meeting earlier with the inspirational @LizPryor3 founder & CEO of the @AnneRobsonTrust to find out more about the amazing work they are doing across UK with volunteers who are there to be with dying people and their loved ones. This is needed everywhere.
2 things I would recommend. First is training of clinical staff, especially palliative care teams, in public health palliative care. Second is to train TLC Connectors in the hospital- about 1% of total staff to link staff together and build community links. @Emma_CCUK for info
