Months before the Supreme Court ever ruled, I had a feeling exactly this would happen. An executive order was never going to be strong enough to permanently fix birthright citizenship, no matter how good the intentions behind it were. That's why I filed a constitutional amendment early this year instead of waiting around to see how the courts would rule. This decision confirms what I already suspected. If we want real, lasting change, it has to come through the amendment process.

The left is far more openly racist pushing their whole DEI agenda than the right, and it's not even close. Racism is so normalized and celebrated on the left that it's not even seen as racist. The Trump administration has been focused on combating actual systemic racism and restoring colorblind merit to our institutions while the left melts down over their overtly racist apparatus being dismantled. Sorry, comments about Haitians potentially eating pets does not come close to outweighing the widespread support for, and implementation of, overtly racist policies by the left for decades, and especially during Biden's presidency. The difference is stark.

After thinking about it for a bit more, Trump's handling of the Epstein case is a really, really bad stain on the admin. Honestly worse than Biden's debate performance from 2024 now that I've seriously given it some thought. If the Epstein conspiracy is even slightly true, this is about as transparent of an admission of something horrifying happening right below our noses as there can ever exist. If the Epstein conspiracy is completely false, then you hyped up the release of files related to a massive ring that ended up being not the case, which shows a total lack of morals, respect, and empathy for the victims & complete and total incompetence in handling such sensitive material. This is an unrecoverable stain on Trump and his admin from my perspective. He might boost the economy & make peace with countries, which long term would be good for the US, but the way he and his admin handled this shows terrible moral character. It's impossible to ignore and leaves a terrible stain on the GOP at large for going along with this garbage.

Absolute and total corruption. This is insane. Biden is hands down the worst president in US history, and the Democrat party is a national disgrace. I'm so glad his term is finally over.

WHY TRUMP WON While the legacy media has a meltdown searching for hitherto undiagnosed psychoses in the electorate to explain its embrace of a Hitlerian strongman, the truth is much simpler than their fictions. This election is a reminder that after all the manufactured drama and overheated rhetoric, politics is still about issues. Whether you agreed with him or not, Trump ran a substantive campaign based on issues like the border, inflation, crime, and war. Harris ran on vibes, celebrity endorsements, name-calling (“convicted felon”, “fascist”), debunked hoaxes (“very fine people”), and platitudes (“democracy”). She would neither defend the Biden-Harris record nor say what she would do differently. When she did talk about specific issues, they were often stolen from Trump (child tax credit; no tax on tips; border funding). On the one issue where Democrats had an advantage, abortion, Trump deftly got ahead of the issue by rejecting a national ban and removing problematic language from the GOP platform. Harris wore out the issue by blatantly lying about Trump’s position and by exhibiting her own party’s extremism (nobody needed to see an abortion truck at the DNC). While Trump expanded his coalition with MAHA (health) and DOGE (government efficiency), Harris concluded her ersatz campaign by going all in on demonizing her opponent, pretending Madison Square Garden was a Nazi convention. The fact that voters saw through it should be reassuring, even if you don’t agree with the result. Voters want to know how a candidate will give them a better life and, increasingly, they have learned to tune out the rest as noise. While the legacy media creates excuses and impugns the motives of voters to explain why Trump won, the reason is simple: Trump is the candidate who spoke to voters’ concerns directly. It’s the issues, stupid.

As a disillusioned, politically homeless Liberal, it's really shocking just how two-faced the Democrats have been for the last 4 years.
