IRuta: UIMA Ruta kernel for Jupyter Notebook. A web-based IDE for Ruta easily be combined with Python in the same Notebook. You can now create interactive notebooks that run UIMA Ruta rules and visualize the results directly from your web-browser. github.com/averbis/IRuta

Apache uimaFIT 2.5.0 and 3.1.0 have been released. They facilitate running of multi-threaded pipelines and fix ResourceManager worries - amongst other things. More info: uima.apache.org/news.html

The Apache UIMA Java SDK version 3.1.1 has been released. It includes a performance improvement when processing simultaneously in parallel 100's of CASes using the same type system. Thanks to Richard for noticing this issue! It's also our first release since moving to GIT😃

#ApacheUIMA UIMA Java SDK versions 2.10.3 and 3.0.1 released - mainly bug fixes and slight improvements. The 3.0.1 "select" framework had a large number of small fixes and realignments so it works like uimaFIT.
