Bishop Strickland asked us to pray for Pope Francis. Let us do that and also pray for Bishop Strickland.
@ArchCordileone And you sir, the church needs us now, pray!
@ArchCordileone Continued prayers that Mr. Strickland repents and re-aligns himself fully with the Church, and continued prayers for our loving @Pontifex, that he can continue to lead souls to Christ and away from those on the alt-right who are actively destroying the Church in America.
@ArchCordileone Catholicism 101: a Bishop who purports that a Pope is wrongly sitting in the Papal seat or has stolen the seat incurs automatic excommunication. It's hard to be an effective Bishop while excommunicated. Pelosi could do a better job than Strickland. 😉
@ArchCordileone My prayer regarding Strickland was just recently answered. Thanks.
@ArchCordileone Let's pray for both, since both are blind guides to a certain degree.The only difference between them is which heresies they prefer. Catholic teaching is a very clear thing,so I don't understand why there's any controversy over this - unless people *like*pretending to be Catholic
@ArchCordileone Pray for us all, Archbishop. Focus on what truly matters for all of us. @Pontifex @ZelenskyyUa @JoeBiden @USCCB @JustinWelby @ArchbishopGomez @BarackObama @FLOTUS @stevebenen @CharlesMBlow @CENTCOM
The best chance this world has to preserve mankind with Christian standards is the Catholic Church, and at times, its actions confuse and dishearten the faithful. As much as I want to pick one person to blame, that would oversimplify the challenge. Every leader has to have a team of advisors and administrators willing to implement their wishes. Those same people have responsibilities relative to their position. Humble strength does not vanquish challenges. It works to transcend them with the truth.
