In Germany, food prices increase by nearly 20% as the country witnesses highest inflation rate in 30 years. Why would Brexit do this? 😱
@ArchRose90 Germany relies on Russia for 90% of its energy. The UK only gets 2% of its energy from Russia. So what is really driving the huge inflation in the UK, if not Brexit?
@ArchRose90 They don’t have our wisdom to show them the way
@ArchRose90 A small tub of butter was like 6 Euro in Malta a few months back, why is Brexit doing this to our friends? 😅
@ArchRose90 Be careful what you wish for with German inflation 😉
@ArchRose90 Brexit gets blamed for everything my toaster stopped working last week so I blamed Brexit for it……
@ArchRose90 It still isn’t as high as ours! The ONS say inflation has risen by over 51% since 2010 and of course a 20% increase in German food prices wouldn’t be anywhere near what we pay because their food prices were a lot lower than our in the first place. But you knew that, didn’t you?
@ArchRose90 Same thing in america... this Brexit thing seems to be worldwide...
@ArchRose90 I’m currently in Spain there food prices are way higher than the uk and their wages are low.
