There was no nationwide outcry when a 19-year-old black woman, DaCara Thompson from Maryland, was raped, murdered, and her body was discarded over a bridge into freezing water by an illegal immigrant in August 2025. This country shows selective outrage driven by political motives. Unless there is some kind of political gain, there will be no outrage. This is what frustrates me as a moderate democrat and a Christian pastor. I guess this is why urban violence is ignored, because there is no political gain.
