Glad to hear @CityCast_DC covering DDOT's anti-safety decision to cancel bike lanes on Connecticut Ave NW. DDOT's project was on track to take longer than the Apollo moon program. And now they've given up on it altogether. What a waste of time, money, and ultimately lives.
This is the start of community engagement, and nothing is final. I'm very excited to see two possible locations in 5F02, including one on a lot @ANC5F approved for denser development. If you're interested in being part of the community input process, keep your eyes peeled!

At tonight's @ANC5F meeting, we heard an update from DC Public Library on the proposed Eckington/Edgewood Library. DCPL has identified five potential sites (marked in green and blue) for further investigation and community input.
