Assassin's Creed Unity is an action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and released on November 11, 2014. It is the fifth installment of the Assassin's Creed series. The production was produced by Vincent Pontbriand and directed by Nicolas Guerin.

Assassin's Creed Unity Won the Prize for Best "Character Animation in a Video Game" at the Annie Awards in 2015, And it sold more than 10 million copies. IGN (Imagine Games Network) gave Assassin's Creed Unity a 7.8 rating.

The Assassin's Creed series describes a thousand-year conflict between the medieval European Knights Templars and the Assassin.

Compared with the previous four works, Assassin's Creed Unity plays down the conflict between the Knights Templars and the Assassin. There are even moderates in both groups. The main character Arno is from the Assassin.

Elise is known as the Knights Templars. Rather than fighting for justice or revenge in other works of the series, the novel portrays a tragic love story in the context of the French Revolution by depicting the relationship between two characters from opposing forces.

Moreover, in contrast to previous works in the series, Assassin's Creed Unity does away with the usual naval battle scenes and instead places the scene in Paris, using narrative, lighting and character costumes to show the chaotic and ornate Paris of the French Revolution.

Assassin's Creed Unity, as a video game, makes great use of the Classic 3 Act Structures in its storytelling, a structure often used to tell a familiar, coherent story.

At the beginning of the first act, the audience is introduced to the characters of the world, setting and time.

The game takes place in Paris in 1789, France has launched a tremendous revolution. The game starts when Arno is a child. Arno's father takes the main character to Versailles Palace, where Arno meets Elise as a child. Later, Arno's father is assassinated in the Versailles.

Arno was adopted by Elise's father, De La Serre, and Elise grew up together as childhood sweethearts, gradually planting the seeds of love. As time rolls on, Arno and Elise become adults, and the story begins in earnest.

The second act begins with the death of De La Serre, a paradigm shift that turns narrative into action (Pramaggiora & Wallis 2005)

At one point, Elise's father goes to an important meeting, As a result, a subordinate of Elise's father found that a letter had not been delivered to Elise's father, so he sent Arno to deliver the letter.

Arno accidentally witnessed the assassination of Elise's father de la Serre, who was also framed as an assassin, and was arrested and imprisoned in the Bastille prison

In the Bastille, Arno encounters an assassin, who tells Arno that Arno's father is an assassin in the Assassins organization and Elise's father is a Templar, to Arno's surprise.

Soon after, the Bastille is broken by the revolutionary French people, and Arno and the assassin escape to freedom. The first thing Arno does when he gets out of prison is to find Elise, but Elise lets Arno read the letter that Arno didn't deliver.

The letter says that someone is going to assassinate Elise's father. Elise blames Arno for not delivering the letter in time and identifies herself as the Templar, believing Arno to be Assassin.

Elise wants to follow in her father's footsteps, find the killer, and get Arno out of her life. Disheartened, Arno goes to the headquarters of the Assassins in order to find out who killed Elise's father, hoping to become a powerful assassin and find out who is behind all this.

When the narrative tension peaks, we enter Act 3, where Arno and Elise successfully trace Germain as the killer and attack Germaine, but Elise is killed. Arno's revenge has been paid, at this time should have gained everything, but he lost his love - Elise.
