I don’t blame my parents for the indoctrination into Christianity. They were victims too. I struggle with the high church, the bishops and archbishops who push the horrors of faith Do they really believe? I doubt it
@AtheistPhoenix See you have a problem with denominations and denominations are to blame for your not believing. You are to blame also, but denominations played a big part also. This post explains much about you.
@AtheistPhoenix If you are speaking of the Catholic church, I am in full agreement with you. They are not biblical and in Christianity it is just putting your faith and life into the hands of Jesus...not all the rules and doctrine.
@AtheistPhoenix The horrors of faith like salvation, forgiveness, eternal life?
@AtheistPhoenix 😢😭 . . . I seriously want to hug you & say “there there, its okay”…
@AtheistPhoenix Such an easy power to wield when everyone regularly confesses all their dirty secrets to you "in confidence", but now you can control the whole medieval village. The reformation was a transfer of power to other priests.
@AtheistPhoenix Churches as for profit business believe in one thing only, bringing in more $$$ which is why they encourage parents to bring victims, sorry mean children, to the church and tell people to go out and indoctrinate new cult members. Follow the $$$ and put the lie to religion.
@AtheistPhoenix Would them actually believing they are doing the right thing make it better or worse? Are they abusing their standing and position for their own ends while hiding behind the mantle of faith or do they actually believe that hurting thousands is righteous and just?
@AtheistPhoenix I kind of feel the same. Yes, my parents took us to mass every Sunday, but they rarely spoke of God at home. I kind of wonder that maybe they were not all that sold on the idea.
@AtheistPhoenix If you want to counter the church you need to redefine their faith . Find Christ !
