As #BreonnaTaylor showed us, no-knock warrants have deadly consequences for innocent law-abiding Black people! @MinneapolisPD executed a no-knock warrant yesterday at 6:48am, killing Amir Locke while he was wrapped in a blanket on the couch. Now we demand #JusticeForAmirLocke!!
@AttorneyCrump @MinneapolisPD He had a gun and pointed it at the cops. Watch the video again. I’m not justifying anything, just saying that they were within their legal boundaries.
@AttorneyCrump @shaunking @MinneapolisPD So...how can No-knock warrants work in conjunction with Stand your ground rights of home owners. concepts?! This is outrageous and homeowners protecting their homes will definately be killed. Here the guy was sleeping on his couch and shot?!
@AttorneyCrump @MinneapolisPD All of you saying he had a gun pointed at them…if you were fast asleep and you hear someone entering your home, wouldn’t you grab protection? Hence why we say these no knock warrants are dangerous and should be illegal 🤷🏾♀️
@AttorneyCrump @MinneapolisPD No criminal history, not the subject of the warrant, and “Legally” possessed a firearm. Coming into an apartment 6 in morning screaming and waving guns is enough to startle anyone in a deep sleep, even if it is coming from police.
@AttorneyCrump @MinneapolisPD This is pure murder.
@AttorneyCrump @MinneapolisPD Where did the police get the key from??
@AttorneyCrump @MinneapolisPD I think they believed it was the homicide suspect...
@AttorneyCrump @MinneapolisPD The cops create the dangerous situation and then react with deadly force when any reasonable person, would grab their firearm when someone busts through their front door unannounced.
