Exploiting the tragedy of people who became victims of criminal pseudo-medical experiments in Auschwitz in a debate about vaccines, pandemic and people who fight for saving human lives is shameful. It is disrespectful to victims & a sad symptom of moral and intellectual decline.
@AuschwitzMuseum I'm so sorry you all even need to make such a statement.
@AuschwitzMuseum “Those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. History never repeats itself. Every single historical moment is distinct from those past. However, we must learn from our mistakes so that we do not run the risk of repeating them.” - Winston Churchill
@AuschwitzMuseum There should be a global requirement for every human being to visit Auschwitz before their 30th birthday. Maybe it will make us better human beings; more compassionate human beings. Hopefully we would learn not to compare stuff to the Holocaust. There is no comparison. 🕯
@AuschwitzMuseum Anyone who has visited or been informed by knowledgeable and reliable sources (books & pictures) of the horrendous, inhumane experimentation that occurred in Auschwitz death camp is intellectually challenged if this is their vaccine debate “go to” point. JUST STOP IT!!!!
@AuschwitzMuseum I was brought up to believe a branch of my family tree came from the European ghettos. It is inevitable therefore that cousins of mine would have perished. Every time I see this argument, I bridle with a cold fury at the desecration of their memory. Vaccines are for saving lives.
@AuschwitzMuseum People who are free to speak openly, travel freely, and protest loudly are comparing themselves to HOLOCAUST victims who had zero opportunity to have any freedoms?I am sure a survivor who watched their family being slaughtered would prefer a vaccine over the death of their family.
@AuschwitzMuseum As an Australian who has visited concentration camps in Europe, I am deeply ashamed of other Australians who are using the words "concentration camps" and "Auschwitz" to define and defend their anti-vaxxer agenda. It's unacceptable on every single level. I'm sorry. #auspol2021
@AuschwitzMuseum I don’t understand how they think saving lives is in any way comparable to mass genocide. They also spout off “herd immunity” as an argument, while ignoring that vaccines help to achieve that faster with less deaths. I just block them, not giving them space to spout off nonsense.
@AuschwitzMuseum Some folks just don’t know the difference between Nazi death experimentation and scientific immunology research.
@AuschwitzMuseum Thank you for saying this. I'm fed up with people in my country who protest vaccines by wearing yellow Stars of David on their shirts, which is an insult to those who were forced to wear them by the Nazis.
