Proud enough to turn up in African/Caribbean dress but 'wounded' when an elderly Lady showed an interest in your roots and your cultural heritage! I don't feckin' think so - you took an innocent question & used it to race-bait for the sake of it!!
@AvaJames_21 I could not laugh at you harder if I tried for a month of Sundays, mate.
@AvaJames_21 Shame on you. Trivialising the real racism that others have suffered
@AvaJames_21 Maybe it was the hair touching? It's taboo!
@AvaJames_21 That’s just what it is…a compliment or comment meant innocently for conversation gets put into a racist context!!!! But if people are cautious and don’t say anything…we’ll that’s discrimination too I guess…STOP JUST STOP. Damned it we do talk to you damned if we don’t!!!!
@AvaJames_21 If you say we don't see colour, we see human beings. You are called racist. If you see colour and take an interest in someone's heritage you are called racist. What happened to being proud. It was a set up by a squaddie. My opinion. All part of a co-ordinated attack on the RF.
@AvaJames_21 The racist questions I got when I went to a Garden party dressed like a leprechaun were off the scale. They all assumed I was Irish FFS ! My mate the Matador got similar treatment.
@AvaJames_21 I’ve been asked if I were MANY different ethnicities, I was asked if I were Mexican because I was sitting a certain way. (Think of a certain ethnic stereotype.) I have never been that offended. Was I a Mexican squatting like a plaster statue… hell yes.
