We are aware of the incident involving Alaska Airlines Flight #AS1282. We are working to gather more information and are in contact with our airline customer. A Boeing technical team stands ready to support the investigation.
@BoeingAirplanes End the MAX program. It's one failure after another. Yet an A350 practically burned to the ground and everyone got out alive.
Well sir, everyone survived JAL A350 incident because they followed, in a perfect manner, the safety procedures and managed to evacuate the aircraft in an orderly fashion. Not to mention that the incident was not caused by a manufacturing error. The two incidents are not comparable.
@FlyingFreak73 @DataJunkie @BoeingAirplanes There is a comparable factor between them, which is general structural safety. The 737-9 apparently disassembles itself mid flight! While the A350 can withstand a literal impact with a dash8, 2 minute slide, and a fire for 24 minutes without collapsing.
@AverageKerel @DataJunkie @BoeingAirplanes I guess I will have to agree on this one... You're right.
