Said this elsewhere already, but are we really pretending this series ever had any actual tactical depth? There's maybe like two games that did if that. It's always been a story and lore first and gameplay second series. Even FE4 is well known for this

There's a very vocal part of the FE community that loves to complain about modern FE because they're unable to understand the idea that the series isn't for them anymore and their childish tantrums aren't heard by IS. I'd say it's getting sad but it's been sad for ages now.

@livanotherday The difference is that the villian still receives his comeuppance and does something to redeem himself. But he still dies, which is the correct way to end that arc. You don't get to be a villain say sorry and get away with it like the MCU loves to do.

@AttaJac It really depends if you recruited people early in Part one and trained them. The auto leveling is really bad in this game, like 4 levels and 1 str, 1 spd, 1 def and thats it.
