“This is Sahara, the desert. No rain, there’s nothing at all. Nothing but misery” #BBCLifeAt50C looks at the extreme heat in the Sahara desert, which many say is becoming intolerable bbc.in/3DL4Qsh
@BBCWorld unfortunately the rest of the world can't watch it...
@BBCWorld There needs to be areas of our Earth that remain unpopulated and unspoiled by mankind. #truth This is a non-story…it’s a great desert, hot with little to no rain, not an area where mankind should or want to live in. #WakeUpAfrica
@BBCWorld What in human nature forces people to stay in inhospitable conditions? Especially in this day and age when information about other, better, places is available. I also wonder why people produce children in war zones and areas of famine. Are charities educating and advising?
@BBCWorld Shock horror desert equals hot...Next thing you no they will be saying the artic is cold😳
@BBCWorld Kids these days! Back in my day, no one complained about the heat in the Sahara! Just walked the desert bare foot because sandals are for pu$$ie$
@BBCWorld Nothing? Seriously? If we look more critically at it we'll find that there's plenty of potential there, not least the unexploited solar energy!
