@SexyLikeMeiosis It used to bother me that the internet was based on making money and ease of use first with security and privacy dead last considerations. I would mention it to people and they would shrug. AI proving all commercial software is Swiss cheese is kinda vindicating tbh.
@BENZOTOOIE I got into collecting Chinese emulator handhelds a couple years ago and picked up the Haunting again for a couple hours. The isometric platformer underground parts were not great to say the least.
@BENZOTOOIE Yeah I bought it at a convenience store for 20 dollars when I was like 13. I saw a blurb about it in EGM a couple years prior and for some reason this chain convenience store had a pile of random Genesis games on the (dirty) floor by the register. Insanely good find though.

@nickjcal There are plenty of chud games. There are also plenty of chud devs working as independents and in studios. It's just that chud sensibilities generally aren't catered to by HR and aren't ESG score based funding friendly, and are too Risque for large companies.
