BRC and Camp Lutherock recently settled a lawsuit with a developer who encroached and trespassed on a conservation easement in Avery Co. It is the first time BRC has sued to defend an easement, and sets a precedent for conservation easement enforceability. blueridgeconservancy.org/recent-news/bl…

BRC was recently awarded two NCPDR land acquisition grants, for $125,000 and $144,000, to expand the corridor for the Northern Peaks State Trail. These grants will allow BRC to protect an additional 48 acres on The Peak in Creston. blueridgeconservancy.org/recent-news/bl…
