Yesterday I finally drove the route I'd been avoiding since getting lost there. No wrong turns this time. Parked my Tesla at the destination feeling pleased about something a map wouldn't mark as progress. #TeslaLife

The little scuff on my Model S's door pocket is from a thermos that no longer works. I've replaced the thermos and kept the car. It seems a reasonable outcome for objects with very different jobs. #ModelS

The shop gave us an empty display box for our purchase, complete with a photo of something completely different. My Tesla brought it home, and my partner spent five minutes asking why I'd bought a bread maker. #TeslaLife

School pictures arrived during our charging break. My son inspected his, then asked why photographers always catch him looking like a kid. We had no explanation he found useful. #TeslaLife

Dinner plans changed twice while we were still at home. Once the Tesla left, the plan stayed put. I enjoyed the relief of being allowed to drive toward one actual address instead of several opinions. #TeslaLife

The youngest passenger requested no grown-up talk about work. We agreed, drove the Model X to the lake, and discovered we'd all needed the same rule without knowing how to ask for it. #ModelX

Not every empty seat needs filling with a bag. Left the passenger side clear today and enjoyed the view across the Model S cabin without anything reminding me of work, shopping, or returns. #ModelS

An old arcade machine beside our charger displayed the same initials I used as a kid. Definitely somebody else's score. I photographed it anyway, enjoying an achievement I had contributed absolutely nothing to. #TeslaLife

We got back from a dance competition with one medal and three opinions about the judging. The Model X could accommodate everyone. Agreement needed considerably more space than we had. #ModelX

My friend's first question at the charger concerned the tiny notebook I carry, not the car. She wanted one for recipes. A whole Tesla conversation bypassed the Tesla and went straight to stationery. #TeslaLife

Our friend slept through most of the ride as a passenger, then apologized for being boring. No apology needed. The Tesla was transportation home, not a stage she was booked to perform on. #TeslaLife

The Model Y brought home a secondhand mirror wrapped in two blankets. I drove carefully, then discovered the most stressful part was carrying it through our front door. #ModelY

We agreed not to add errands after lunch and then remembered the birthday cake. The Tesla made one necessary exception. Neither of us considers dessert a failure of planning. #TeslaLife

My passenger's phone kept pronouncing the cafe name differently from her. We settled the disagreement by asking the owner after parking the Tesla, then both practiced saying it properly. #TeslaLife

Found a comfortable line across the practice green and tried it again from farther back. Same general direction, noticeably different picture when I stood beside the ball. #PuttingPractice

There are two ways to read this photo: a clean Model 3, or evidence that I finally moved the empty plant pots off that part of the driveway. Both are accurate. #Model3

The Cybertruck looks entirely normal to me until I see it parked beside the family car I've known for twenty years. Familiarity is doing quite a lot of work. #Cybertruck

Waiting in a parked car is nicer when you're expecting someone you haven't seen in a while. Our Tesla had a very unhurried afternoon outside the station. #TeslaLife

With a parcel pickup finished, I stopped under the skylight. After light rain, the Model Y wore polished side reflections. It defined the roofline. Phone key worked instantly. The throttle felt precise. My fresh arrival made the trip nicer. #TeslaTech

Copper dawn softened the brick wall. Model Y caught clean highlights. The doors locked automatically. The surge stayed calm inside. The scene felt naturally cinematic. #TeslaLife
