Thoughts on reported quarterback plan differences between Tom Telesco and Antonio Pierce silverandblackpride.com/2024/4/15/2413… via @SilverBlakPride
Big picture… If Telesco stays put at 13 and selects an OT or CB, it’ll be seen as taking the wise path. Less heat is on him. Easy to explain as well because of the cost of moving up. If AP has to go that route and the team falters because of poor QB play, it’s squarely on him. If there is a debate behind those walls, I can see this factors above as being a part of it.
@BWilliamsonNFL @SilverBlakPride Is Pauline actually a reliable source? Seems like smoke to me.
@BWilliamsonNFL @SilverBlakPride This isn't true. There are no leaks right now. I'm sure AP and TT are on the same page
@BWilliamsonNFL @SilverBlakPride Pauline is not the most trustworthy in his takes. In fact, he’s rarely accurate. As you said, prob HC/GM differing opinions aren’t uncommon. TP just likes to make everything dramatic w his takes imo.
@BWilliamsonNFL @SilverBlakPride Seems like a lot of contradiction from Pauline. He’s all over the place
@BWilliamsonNFL @SilverBlakPride I think it's ridiculous to believe that if AP and Tom Telesco did have a difference in opinion about QBs, they would just tell people about it.
@BWilliamsonNFL @SilverBlakPride A HC usually has two extra wildcards before he is fired: 1) firing the part of the staff not working 2) changing the QB If AP wants to survive the next 2/3 years, he must adress the QB issue in the next draft, not in this one.
