The OBBL is going to be running BP events this summer while the gathering limit is still maximum 10 people. This is a great way to get some swings in, shag balls and have some fun with friends! Shoot us a DM or email to let us know if you are interested!⚾️⭐️👀
For all teams that are allowed and looking to set up exhibition games/scrimmages and are looking for an umpire, reach out and I’d be happy to help! I’m a level 3 umpire. DM me if interested.
Please sign our petition! The Gov't announced Stage 3, and has released new Orders. Now in 2020, we can have full team practices, scrimmages and play games, starting Friday! The challenge is a social bubble is being implemented for team sports. See more: conta.cc/2W37MNq
Vaughan will officially be opening permits for fields effective July 6th! With the gathering limit currently at 10, we are looking to run BP sessions for players looking to get some baseball action. It’s a great way to get some swings and shag some balls. DM us if interested!⚾️👀
The YSBA has officially cancelled the 2020 season for Elite, Rep and Select levels. Although unfortunate news for York Simcoe ball players, we want to remind everyone that the OBBL is still prepared to run! We will continue to wait on cities to allow permits for competitive play!
The money raised from each $3 purchase will be going to canadahelps.org towards COVID-19 relief efforts. We can all make a difference!
More exciting news! We are putting together a motivational rubber wristband drive for COVID-19 charity! With each purchase of our “Accomplish Greatness” wristband, 50% of the proceeds will go to helping those in need! Let us know if you’re interested, it’s for a great cause!!!!
Can’t wait guys👊⚾️
Big news! Steve Springer @qualityatbats has agreed to host a zoom call for players, coaches or anyone who may be interested! Call will take place June 5th at 8pm EDT! He will be providing his full package of professional motivational baseball work. DM us if interested!!!⚾️🚨

@NYBlues12u Yes, the province did announce that baseball fields, along with other outdoor recreational amenities, will open up. However, it is up to the city’s discretion to allow people to utilize the fields.
The province announced today that in class activities with all public schools will be closed for the rest of the school year. As the province continues to reopen the economy, we need to all continue to do our part in preventing the spread of COVID-19.⚾️⭐️👀
Take a look at @jaegersports take on “Mental Training Talk” with a very in-depth look on the mental side of the game. It’s just under an hour, and it is extremely informative! Highly recommend taking a listen if you have the time. Thanks Alan! ⚾️⭐️👀 Link: youtube.com/watch?v=7h4er5…
Thanks for the support Alan! We love what you do with Jaeger Sports, keep it up!⚾️👊🏻
Our friends @backupleague in Ontario, Canada r working hard to create a backup league in the event of a cancelled season. The league, if deemed safe to run, will allow youth players to still get something out of a potentially lost season. Check out their twitter & DM 4 inquiries!
To all the Mom’s out there, thank you for what you do. We hope you all have the special day that you deserve! Happy Mother’s Day❤️🌺
Today, May 8th, was supposed to be the weekend of the 18u Elite Vaughan Tournament. It’s an extremely unfortunate reminder that the 2020 baseball season is passing by as we’re stuck off the fields. If a cancellation happens, you will be able to get your games in with the OBBL!⚾️
We would also like to reiterate that safety has always been and will continue to be our #1 priority in organizing the OBBL. At the end of the day, it is up to the hard working health officials of Ontario to give the green light on the chance to get out on the fields this summer⚾️
The commissioners of the OBBL have been hard at work to organize and make this league exceptional. There’s only two of us! We greatly appreciate the support we’ve been receiving from the community. You’ve given us great exposure, advice & allowed us to grow rapidly. Thank you!⚾️
The weather today is incredible! What a perfect day for baseball. We are all hoping for a season this summer, so in the event of a Baseball Ontario cancellation, the OBBL is the perfect destination for passionate ball players to get the reps in that they really want!⚾️⭐️👀
The Vaughan Vikings Board of Directors. Working hard to figure all of this out. ⚾️🥎 We all miss seeing your faces. Here are ours. #stayhome #staysafe #staypositive
When the website is up and ready, you will be able to see info about the league (with a much requested FAQ), a little background about the commissioners, a way to contact us via email/twitter, and you will be able to sign up very easily for our league straight from the website!
We continue to be amazed with the positive responses, praise and interest we’ve been receiving about the OBBL via email. Our official website is in the works too, and is very close to being ready! Make sure to keep the emails coming in at [email protected] ⚾️⭐️👀
