@MuellerSheWrote Republicans don’t read legislation. Just slip it into the body of a bill, perhaps as an ‘example’ or exhibit. Sure MAGA will blow a fuse, but fuck them.

@MuellerSheWrote The two Important things I see is Cornyn has committed to keeping the Filibuster and with the crazies Trump is lining up I doubt he will accept recess appointments.

@MuellerSheWrote Is this leading to an action to declare Trump ineligible for Office? My memory of the Supreme Court decision overturning Colorado disqualifying him from the ballot was they indicated you couldn’t remove him from the ballot but Congress could refuse to seat him?

@DavidJamesMusic @DefiyantlyFree The cash cards or things like that help them remain in contact with the court system. Numbers show only 15% of those who go to immigration court are allowed to stay. The rest leave the country. To clean up immigration system give the courts enough money to catch up. Simple.

@DavidJamesMusic @DefiyantlyFree Sounds crazy doesn’t it…that is the same thing you are offering immigrants. The reason the bulk of immigrants are in the U.S. is they are waiting to be seen by an immigration judge…2/3

@MCN_2890 @MuellerSheWrote They may…but they move like turtles. Trumps crazy depends on ‘no barriers’. Anything that can slow him down is positive progress. That is why he is clamoring for ‘recess appointments’ so he can avoid senate confirmation battles. Budget reconciliation? Etc.

@MtnGrl4 @MuellerSheWrote This is really one I struggle with. I think about how many people will get hurt the next four years, and want to help them navigate, but I also feel if they voted for Trump they don’t deserve empathy…they didn’t show it for anyone else.

@RonFilipkowski So are these ‘billable hours?” Should they be considered ‘campaign contributions?’ What does it say that a large portion of those who ‘speak for’ Trump are paid by him? Hmm…🤨

@solosykywalker @MuellerSheWrote Maybe it’s time we stop spending so much energy trying to predict the future. Modern polling’s only real contribution is to make weather forecasters look accurate.

@KathiInCali @MuellerSheWrote That’s exactly what he did. He is saying Cannon dismissed it so you should also. Only Cannon’s dismissal is likely to fail on appeal.
