I swear coding AI can be like herding cats sometimes. Just do what I want damn it! #indiedev #gamedesign

Working on an enemy that spits poison! should be a nasty little bugger when I finish. #gamedevelopment

Seems a little weird that Unreal Engine doesn't have a way to directly delete Widget objects from memory. Not usually a problem, but a bit of a pain when you end up generating a ton. #UnrealEngine #gamedev

Working on some UI elements tonight. So many widgets, so little time. #gamedev

Working on logic for some level creation. Trying to make it feel fun to play and hopefully it will just be a larger initial investment but will pay off down the line. 😺 #gamelogic #leveldesign

Anyone else getting restless feeling spring coming? I know our cat is... 🐈 #springfever #gamedev

Figuring out a way to make a fog of war effect for the minimap that will leave a trail on places you discover. I got a working placeholder, but not as many resources as I expected to help. Too niche? #DIY #indiedevs

Worked on a minimap/map. Got it working well enough, but might want to change the player indicator I made in MS paint at some point. 🤔 #indiegames #indiedeveloper

Finally got my first shot for the Covid Vaccine!

Trying to get some work done, the cat wants to help. Either that or she is trying to take my chair... perhaps both.

Having fun playing around with water so I can add some good looking additions to parts of levels. Looks good! #WaterIsLife #indiedev

Working to figure out day/night and some weather effects. Should make some levels feel more immersive and interesting! #gamedev #gaminglife

Set up the lighting and it is really blending things together in the levels. Still more to do, but it is looking good so far! #gamedev #UnrealEngine

Working on lighting and learning more about dynamic lighting. Pretty cool stuff! #indiedev #leveldesign

Working on making some aoe spells... this one might be a little too big though #indiedev #UnrealEngine

Every once in a while, I'm amazed by just how many resources there are out there for learning UE

Playing around with animation trails. Even though it still needs some work, it really adds to the action #UnrealEngine #gamedevelopment

Working on some new level design. It's hard to make things really natural, learn more everyday. #gamedev #leveldesign

Well, the weather was looking great the last few days, looks like it get rainy and cold for a bit again. Easier to focus on the game I guess. #gamedev #rainyday

Kinda hard to work when my cat keeps bugging me every five minutes to go and shake her food dish so she can pretend it's fresh #gamedev
