👏This week, @PeterKisaakye presented findings from the first-ever Humanitarian Violence Against Children and Youth Survey (HVACS) at Uganda’s National Symposium on Ending Violence Against Children in Kampala - convened by @MGLSD_Uganda with their partners.
📢 At the #WorldCongressLisbon, Abir Nur shared findings from school-based sexual violence screening in Uganda’s refugee settlements. 👧🏾 653 survivors identified in 5 months vs. 16 the year before. 💬 Children disclosed for the first time. 🤝 Wide support from the community.
📍This week in Bidibidi, Yumbe District 🇺🇬: @Baobab_RPC is training para-social workers & child protection groups using Uganda’s revised National Para-Social Worker Manual that now integrates our school-based sexual violence screening model. Honoured to support this uptake! 💪🏽
