In 2022, lawmakers in Louisiana passed a Congressional map with only one majority African American district out of six – even though Black Louisianans make up about a third of the state’s population. Now a federal court has ordered Louisiana to redraw their maps and create a second Black majority district. It’s a victory for our democracy, and should motivate us to keep pushing for equal representation in every state.
@BarackObama @DemRedistrict Can't win through elections so you rewrite the map.
@BarackObama @DemRedistrict Guess what you race baiting traitor.... Louisiana lost people and all that will change the next Census. And in the end, you will be in GITMO.
@BarackObama @DemRedistrict You mean cheating by gerrymandering/re-districting. Might as well. Dems cheat every other way. I never know which district I will be in and who will represent every two fekkin years just to keep a democrat in that seat.
@BarackObama @DemRedistrict Race baiter still trying to use racism. do you have any idea how pathetic you look?
@BarackObama @DemRedistrict @BarackObama why does it matter to you? You hurt the black community more than anyone in history. You managed to destroy everything Dr. King did in just 15 years. You are a traitor to the oath you swore and @realDonaldTrump has the black vote now, so suck on that!
@BarackObama @DemRedistrict Well then they should spread around mister born in Africa making u non eligible for presidency ! Have you talked to your grandma ?
There is only one way a child can become a US natural born citizen, and that is to be born on US soil to two US citizen parents. The only factor that determines whether a child is a US natural born citizen or just a 14th Amendment citizen is what was the allegiance (citizenship) of the parents the instant the child was born. If the parents were not US citizens at that instant then the child is merely a 14th citizen not eligible to be POTUS or VPOTUS The Supreme Court stated the following: “All children born in a country of PARENTS (plural) who were its CITIZENS (plural) became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners." - 1874 Supreme Court Chief Justice Morrison Waite
@BarackObama @DemRedistrict Since we're talking about injustices that happened to black people, what happened to your chef?
@BarackObama @DemRedistrict Are they black or African? I think you are just talking about Americans but using divisive terms.
