@AlexThomp This is why intersectionality matters, and that all "minority" experiences are not created equal. No need to protect her. If she was bold enough to say it, she could've handled the consequences.

@BariAWilliams @AlexThomp And actually - was she wrong? "Deserving of scorn" is one definition. Policing is a govt function, operating w/in legal system created by govt. Systemic inequality has roots in govt. So isn't protesting police brutality & mistreatment of minorities ~ showing contempt for govt?
