@RebeccaMadison_ Love, love, love this line of questioning! It is incredibly important to get out in front of this and have the discussions now. AI/human interactions are going to explode in the psychology/therapy space VERY soon.

I tried something recently that I had no expectations of working, because it seemed so trite. “Open yourself to the universe and it will open itself to you”. And it worked. Huh.

@RebeccaMadison_ To accept those feelings and their expression uncritically and unconditionally.

@rachelclif IRL. In photos, it always looks like I’m squinting or half-asleep. You can’t see my eyes, which is imho important to attractiveness.

@rachelclif If I understand your point, Good Girls do this as a submission to gender norms. "Don't be a bother" type of thing, while I was trying to compare men leaning into those same concepts as reaffirming their own gender norms. Pretty damaging on both sides.

@rachelclif It seems that way at least. From the men I have talked to that put on the hyper-masculine front. Sex becomes as numbers game, intimacy is weak feels aren't important, etc. I put Real Men in quotes cuz I didn't know how to do a TM symbiol, but was meant as a parody of hyper-jasc

@rachelclif Interestingly enough, "Real Men" pretend these same things.

@rachelclif Totally! I spent a lot of years feeling like I was a victim. Still do sometimes. And I spent a lot of years allowing myself to be a victim without knowing it. I'm absolute shit with setting and maintaining my own boundaries. I never had any modelled for me.

@rachelclif Connection. Desire. The feeling of "at this moment in time and space, this is what I would rather be doing than any of the alternatived". Be that from a partner, a friend or even just a conversation.
