It is transpired that, 872 of the 3,890 missing people, including 29 children and 98 women, were taken hostage as they didn’t leave their homes and stayed in the occupied territories during the occupation of settlements, villages and cities. #IDOD #DontForgetMissingAzerbaijanis

Currently, 3,890 people are registered as missing in the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons of the Republic of Azerbaijan as result of Armenian occupation and aggretion against Azerbaijan in 1990s. #IDOD #DontForgetMissingAzerbaijanis @hrw

Government agencies recognize #EcoTerror of #OkhchuchayRiver. L.Margaryan, member of Ecology Protection Safety Center at #YerevanUniversity, confirmed a deterioration of the water quality due to a high content of molybdenum, iron, copper, zinc, chromium and other heavy metals.

As for the #Kapan mine, it is known that as result of the accident at the tailing pipe in 2017 the surrounding territories, around 1,800 sq.m. got contaminated. The fact of a harm caused to the environment was officially recognized and company was fined. #Ecoterror #Ecocide

In 2017 #Kajaran Copper Molybdenum Combine in Syunik reportedly mined 27.2 million tons of ore, while, in accordance with a licensing agreement signed with the Government, the combine was to extract and process only up to 22 million tons of ore per year. #Ecoterror #Ecocide @UNEP
